LinkedIn Checklist
As part of professional endorsement you'll need a completed LinkedIn profile that highlights your skills and experiences. To achieve this step towards professional endorsement, ensure you have all the following information:

Profile Introduction
- Create a shortened, unique LinkedIn url
- Display your name on your profile, utilizing the visibility privacy settings to determine who can see your full name or other profile components
- Profile picture is clear, shows your face (ideally not a selfie), and is in front of a professional background
- Uploaded an uncopyrighted background photo that shows off your interests or personality (Canva is a great resource for this)
- List a reliable email address, Github link, and portfolio in contact section. Ideally privacy is set to 2nd and 3rd contacts can view them. ⚠️ If you need to keep your privacy settings viewable only to 1st connections for safety reasons this requirement can be skipped. ⚠️
- Fill in your headline to reflect the titles you're aiming for, i.e. iOS Developer below name and included any other keywords. For example: “Data Scientist, with a passion for data visualizations and open-source code”. Ensure title doesn't pull from current position as LinkedIn defaults too, unless that position is relevant to the tech industry
