Professional Endorsement Checklist
By the time you finish Labs, your career materials should be prepared to be reviewed for “endorsement”. Professional endorsement means you have completed all requisite materials associated with required career lessons (like the resume and LinkedIn lessons). Full endorsement encompasses passing technical interviews as well. Once you have earned your professional endorsement, along with your technical endorsement, you will gain access to our pipeline of hiring partners who want to meet, interview, and hire Lambda students.
Endorsement means that you are eligible to apply to jobs with Lambda School partners. For more in-depth information on Professional Endorsement, including all requirement and resources, please reference the Professional Endorsement Handbook here.

Professional Interview
Here are some things to think about as you prepare for the interview:
- Prepare answers these common interview questions
- Use this STAR and Common Interview Questions Worksheet if you'd like to help you prepare
- Ensure you have a neutral background (blank walls are typically best)
- Find a quiet environment to take the interview
- Dress for the part (different companies have different thoughts on this, so do your research. Here’s an article about “smart casual” and one for business casual)
- Avoid any food/drinks while interviewing
